After hearing and seeing photos of Ana Black...I had heard so much hype on them. Finally, when I got my hands on some songs of theirs, I found it a major disappointment.

Pretty Boy Floyd's "Size Really Does Matter" was also a let down. With this album we found Lesli's poor song-writing and lyrics not up to par and Steve singing like a reject muppet with laryngitis. I anticipated this album as "Wow another PBF album!"...only to be disappointed to say "Damn, good thing this was a copy and I didn't purchase it."

Thought and Written by Carl :
Al, have you heard the new Backyard?
<font size="4" face="Arial">I did. I don't really know what to think about this album. A lot of songs are boring and only a few are good. I like The mess age(How I could Be So Wrong) song. I expected nothing from them since the huge disappointment provoked by Stockholm Syndrome.I don't want to hurt anybody therefore I hope that BB's fans won't take offence. Roxx Gang - VooDoo
...and all the crap that followed. Everytime something came out it was like being repeatedly being kicked in the balls.

    Wildhearts - Endless/Nameless
To this date I am a Wildhearts fan...I still try to give this disc a try every year...It's not getting any better.

    Def Leppard - Adrenalize
Leppard has made noticeable changes album to album. High N Dry was raw. Pyromania was more polished. The influence of Mutt Lange is apparent.
I thought they where done after the Rick Allen accident. The sound with Hysteria was the birth of a new band. They had essentially gone pop. I was still a big sucker for their harmonies and sing-a-long choruses. When Steve Clark died I was disturbed. I expected DL to throw it in finally. Adrenalize came out after much delay....and well....yeah. I told myself I liked it. In fact I really did love the slow tempo songs STAND UP and Tonight. But the lyrics where sooooo poor. Especially Let's Get Rocked and I Want To Touch You. I was aching for a heavy song from my heroes. Nothing. In fact I knew it would never be the same when I gave a listen to Song and Emotion from Tesla. Their tribute to Steve Clark. It's eerily funny how Tesla sounded more like Def Leppard did than Def Leppard themselves in their current state. Sadly the best songs DL has made since...in my opinion...are Fractured Love and Desert Song on the Retroactive cd.

    Metallica - Load
Hugely successful.....but I like it when James did not try to sing every note.

Pretty Boy Floyd - Everything after LBWET.
Please make it stop. "It" being Mr. Summers.

I have to say I was pretty disappointed by the new Gemini Five album "Black anthems". Had some good songs, but not a patch on Babylon Rockets

Another I found disappointing was the new TESLA....after years with no work put out other than a greatest hits and double live cd...I was over-joyed to see they had released a brand new cd, but after purchasing it...I was a bit disappointed. Though there were like 2 or 3 good songs, after the years passing, I woulda thought they'd put out a cd that was worth the wait...and that didn't happen at all.
